FEMA fires four after alleged payments to New York City hotels for migrants

Feb 11 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency fired its chief financial officer and three other employees, accusing them of making "egregious payments" for New York City hotels used for migrants, the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement on Tuesday.
"DHS will not sit idly and allow deep state activists to undermine the will and safety of the American people," a department spokesperson said.
