Feb 10 - (The Insurer) - Rokstone has hired Rob Winsley as capacity manager and broker relationship director.
Winsley has joined from Howden in a move described by Rokstone as a “real coup” for the MGA. He spent more than a decade with Howden, having joined as a junior broker.
In his new role, Winsley will have oversight of distribution for Rokstone, working across all lines and developing further multi-year capacity deals.
James Potter, who recently became chairman at Rokstone having previously served as CEO, said: “We’ve now reached the size that Rokstone requires dedicated resource of this type across all lines and the territories we operate in globally and fully expect in time to grow the function with additional support in the UK and the US.”
Ian Anson, who replaced Potter as global CEO, said: "Coinciding with the recent management changes at Rokstone we recognised the need for additional and dedicated resource to help manage and develop our key partnerships – ensuring we always remain ahead of the curve on service.”
