Corrects second paragraph to remove language saying that Wilcox claimed her removal violated the U.S. Constitution
WASHINGTON, Feb 5 (Reuters) - A former member of the National Labor Relations Board sued U.S. President Donald Trump and the NLRB on Wednesday, alleging she was illegally fired from the federal government agency that protects the rights of American workers.
Gwynne Wilcox, who was appointed to the board by former President Joe Biden, said in a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that her firing last week violated U.S. law. She is the first member of the board terminated since the board was founded in 1935.
