Feb 4 (Reuters) - United Airlines UAL.O said on Tuesday it will restart its service from New York to Tel Aviv on March 15, as tensions ease following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
Western carriers had canceled their flights to multiple destinations in the Middle East, amid elevated security concerns.
"This resumption follows a detailed assessment of operational considerations for the region and close work with the unions who represent our flight attendants and pilots," Chicago-based United said.
United will also add a second daily flight on the route, which is planned to begin from March 29.
