Feb 3 - (The Insurer) - Epic Insurance Brokers & Consultants has been appointed as the exclusive broker and program administrator for non-profit LeadingAge’s Aging Services Insurance offering.
LeadingAge is a group that represents over 5,400 ageing services providers and other affiliated organisations that serve older adults.
Through the program, LeadingAge’s members can access a range of risk management services and insurance solutions from Epic.
Those solutions include highly specialised coverage along with general, professional and management liability, commercial auto and property, abuse, excess/umbrella, workers' compensation, cyber, medical billing, and errors and omissions.
The coverages are backed by insurance capacity from a carrier panel that Epic said provides long-term, stable solutions customised for the needs of the LeadingAge community.
“Each senior living facility has their own story,” said Walter Constantine, vice president and team leader of Epic Senior Living.
“We’re here to support best in class organisations with tailored risk management and insurance offerings that meet their program’s needs and elevate their services,” he noted.
Epic said its senior living team has an innovative approach to risk management which combats a range of insurance challenges facing the market, including climate-fuelled property rate increases and fast-rising liability costs.
The broker said its team can also help clients manage rapidly evolving technology, along with the increased threat posed by cyber attacks and challenges arising out of staffing shortages.
“The imminent senior population growth coupled with a challenging senior living insurance marketplace requires proactive risk management solutions,” said Constantine.
“Our experienced team is ready to help organisations get ahead of their own risks so they can thrive in the midst of an uncertain future,” he added.
