- (The Insurer) - MGA platform Doxa Insurance Holdings has bolstered its leadership team with five executive appointments, including Doron Hai as COO.

Joining Hai are Matt Bishop, Amy Watts, Cindy Bush, and Ammon Smartt.

Hai, who became COO in September 2024, previously served as a strategy and operations consultant at DH Consulting. In his new role, he is tasked with enhancing Doxa's integrated operational capabilities.

Bishop transitioned from AGIA Affinity, a Doxa-owned company, where he served as CEO for two years. At Doxa, he serves as head of operating entities and business verticals, spearheading growth strategies, identifying strategic partnerships, and leading verticals.

Watts also joined from AGIA Affinity, where she spent over 20 years, ultimately serving as chief marketing officer. As senior vice president of marketing at Doxa, she now leads the marketing team, driving the company's growth initiatives.

Bush, who became senior vice president of people and culture in November 2023, previously spent 13 years as a senior HR business partner at Farmers Insurance. She focuses on enhancing the employee experience at Doxa.

Smartt, who joined in July 2024 as general counsel and secretary, previously spent 13 years at WTW, where he served as general counsel for North America and global lead counsel for treasury.

Doxa stated that this leadership expansion marks the beginning of a new strategic direction for the company in 2025, with a focus on organic growth and operational support within its specialty insurance ecosystem.

The company said that it plans to acquire or launch at least seven new managing general agencies or programs in 2025.

“Our new leadership members’ expertise in business strategy combined with their extensive insurance industry experience supports Doxa’s commitment to provide next level support to our business units, partners, and programs,” said Doxa CEO Matt Sackett.
