Jan 31 - (The Insurer) - Outgoing Lloyd's CFO Burkhard Keese is set to join the management team of German property MGA Konzept & Marketing (K&M).
Based in Hanover, K&M is a specialised service provider in the German property insurance market.
Keese will join the holding company's management team on 1 May 2025. He will be responsible for supporting the implementation of K&M's acquisition strategy.
He will also invest in K&M alongside existing backers Oakley Capital, a pan-European private equity investor, and chairman Joachim Müller, former CEO of Allianz Commercial and current CEO of German insurtech Wefox.
Earlier this week it was announced that Keese will step down from his role as Lloyd's CFO in the second quarter of 2025. He will be succeeded by Alexandra Cliff, who currently serves as deputy CFO at the Corporation.
Prior to Lloyd's, he was CFO of Allianz Deutschland AG and executive vice president of group financial reporting at Allianz SE.
Former Allianz colleagues Keese and Müller have also both served as board members at Commerzbank AG, a role which Keese still currently holds.
Commenting on the appointment, Müller said: "We are delighted to have gained Burkhard Keese, an experienced expert in the insurance industry and a financial expert.
"In his new position, Burkhard will play a key role in our planned growth strategy and planned acquisitions. His many years of national and international experience and his understanding of the insurance business will be of great benefit to us."
