WASHINGTON, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Japan hopes to arrange the first face-to-face meeting between Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and U.S. President Donald Trump in February or March, a foreign ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday.
"We hope that will happen sometime in February or in March," Japanese Foreign Ministry Press Secretary Toshihiro Kitamura told a news conference in Washington, adding it would depend on the calendars of both countries.
