MOSCOW, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday discussed talks with Donald Trump and the outlook for a possible peace deal to end the war in Ukraine, Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov said.
They spoke for one hour and 35 minutes, Ushakov said, and touched on issues including Korea, the Middle East, Syria, Taiwan and other issues.
Xi told Putin about a call with Trump, Ushakov said.
Xi and Putin confirmed that both countries are ready to build relations with the United States on a mutually beneficial and respectful basis if the Trump team shows interest, Ushakov said.
