DAVOS, Switzerland, Jan 21 (Reuters) - The European Union must pursue a more balanced relationship with China and find solutions of mutual interest, the EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday.
The EU and China have been embroiled in a trade spat marked by tariffs involving Chinese-made electric vehicles and some European imports including French cognac.
The European Commission also filed a complaint against China at the World Trade Organization on Monday over an issue related to patents.
