US move to ease sanctions should be a step to their full lifting, Syrian foreign minister says

AMMAN, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shibani said on Tuesday during a press conference with his Jordanian counterpart that the latest U.S move to ease sanctions should be a step towards full lifting of sanctions.

Shibani said existing sanctions were a main hurdle to the recovery of Syria.
