MOVES-Blue Owl Capital hires Yoichi Nakamura to lead private wealth in Japan

SINGAPORE, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Blue Owl Capital OWL.N, a New York-headquartered asset manager, said on Tuesday it had hired Yoichi Nakamura as managing director and head of Japan private wealth.

Nakamura had previously served as CEO Japan of Algebris Investments, building the London-based asset management firm's team and operations in Tokyo, Blue Owl said in a statement.

Blue Owl, which manages $235 billion in assets, said that Nakamura's hiring reinforces its commitment to serving the largest securities companies and wealth managers in Japan.
