SAO PAULO, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Brazil's Senate may pass a bill expanding income tax exemptions for the middle class within 30 days, a senator said on Tuesday, just days after the lower house of Congress approved the flagship measure of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's government.
Speaking with reporters, Senator Renan Calheiros, who will sponsor the bill in the chamber, added senators could change elements of the legislation if they consider it necessary.
