US not putting money into Argentina, Bessent says

WASHINGTON, Oct 2 (Reuters) - The United States is not putting money into Argentina, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Thursday.
Bessent said in an interview with CNBC the U.S. was maintaining a strategic interest in Argentina because it wanted to avoid another failed state like Venezuela in the region.
