Investors sentiment in the Eurozone deteriorated in September, with the Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence Index dropping to -9.2 from -3.7 in August.
The details of the report showed that the Current Situation Index fell to -18.8 from -13, while the Expectations Index declined to 0.8 from 6.0.
Assessing the survey's findings, "there is not much sign of an autumn revival and the pressure on export-oriented industry is likely to increase further as a result of the tariff deal with the United States," Sentix said.
Market reaction
EUR/USD showed no immediate reaction to this report and was last seen trading marginally higher on the day at 1.1730.
