Brazil posts $1.347 billion current account deficit in April

BRASILIA, May 26 (Reuters) - Brazil posted a current account deficit of $1.347 billion in April, the central bank said on Monday, while economists polled by Reuters were expecting a $2 billion deficit.

Foreign direct investment for the month totaled $5.491 billion, above the $4 billion projected by economists.
