April 2 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President Lorie Logan said Thursday the economic outlook is quite uncertain due to the Middle East war and the central bank will respond with policy changes appropriate to how the economy is performing.
“I really like thinking about things in scenarios right now,” Logan said at an event held at her bank. “I think policy is positioned to adjust to the data as it's coming in, and we're prepared to make adjustments to the policy path as appropriate,” she said. Logan said the Middle East war makes it very hard to know what lies ahead with the economy.
