France's Macron urges moratorium on strikes hitting civilian infrastructure

March 18 (Reuters) - France's President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday he spoke with the emir of Qatar and U.S. President Donald Trump following strikes on gas production facilities in Iran and Qatar.

Macron urged all parties to immediately implement a "moratorium on strikes targeting civilian infrastructure", especially water and energy facilities.
