March 10 (Reuters) - Greek industrial output rose by 5.3% year-on-year in January, after an upwardly revised 4.0% increase in December, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Tuesday.
A breakdown of index components showed manufacturing production rose 1.1% from the same month in 2025. Electricity output was up by 22.5% year-on-year, and mining production was down by 16.2%.
Compared to the same month a year earlier, in January the greatest percentage increase was recorded in computers, electronics and other optical products, while the highest percentage decrease was recorded in mining of coal and lignite, ELSTAT said.
