March 10 (Reuters) - Greece's annual EU-harmonised inflation accelerated to 3.1% in February from 2.9% in January, data showed on Tuesday.
Month-on-month consumer inflation rose 0.3%
The cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 5.3% year-on-year in February, with prices of clothing and footwear surging by 9.3%, the data showed.
EU-harmonised inflation is an index of components that is used across the EU to measure inflation in a consistent way.
Official statistics service ELSTAT also reported that headline consumer inflation in February rose to 2.7% from 2.5% in January.
