BRUSSELS, March 9 (Reuters) - Group of Seven finance ministers during the call on Monday did not discuss specific market conditions that would be needed to trigger the release of strategic oil reserves, European Economic Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis said.
"We didn't have detailed discussions on specific conditions, but we broadly agreed that in a situation like this, where we are facing disruptions, we stand ready to release (the reserves)," Dombrovskis told a news conference.
"Further specific discussions will be conducted by energy ministers already tomorrow. So just basically, it was more a discussion to indicate this as a possible policy response," he said.
