Romania aims to sell domestic debt worth 8 bln lei in March-debt managers

- Romania's finance ministry aims to sell domestic treasury bonds and bills worth 8 billion lei ($1.86 billion) in February, and an additional 15% worth of the issued paper through non-competitive tenders, it said on Friday.

Debt managers have scheduled 13 bond tenders with residual maturities ranging from 2.4 years to 14.4 and one tender for 800 million lei worth of one-year treasury bills.

Romania has sold roughly 24.5 billion lei and 395.4 million euros ($466.73 million) at domestic tenders so far this year. It raised 3 billion euros and $2 billion in its first Eurobond sale of 2026 earlier this week.
