Feb 13 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President Austan Goolsbee said Friday that there were good and less good things in inflation data released earlier in the day.
When it came to the January consumer price index, “the new month that came in, the number was okay, and the more concerning part is we're still seeing pretty high services inflation,” Goolsbee said in an interview on Yahoo! Finance. “I think [interest] rates can still keep going down a fair bit more, but we just need to see the progress on inflation, and we need to see that the job market remains steady,” he added.
