Brazil's green coffee exports rise annually for first time since March

SAO PAULO, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Brazil's green coffee exports grew year-on-year in December, the first annual rise since March, data from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services showed on Tuesday.

• Brazil's green coffee exports rose 4.2% in December 2025 from the same month in 2024, to about 210,300 metric tons or 3.5 million 60-kg bags.

• On the other hand, Brazil's green coffee exports fell from the about 212,200 tons shipped in November.

• Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer and exporter, faced challenges in the market this year, including lower supply and tariffs imposed by the U.S.

• Donald Trump removed in November additional tariffs he had imposed on U.S. imports of some Brazilian goods, including green coffee.
