POLISH PRESIDENT VISITS THE USA
On Wednesday, Polish President Karol Nawrocki will pay a working visit to the United States, where he will meet with President Donald Trump.
The presidents' talks will focus on security in the region, the arming of the Polish army, as well as economic issues, including the construction of a nuclear power plant in Poland, Marcin Przydacz from the president's office told Rzeczpospolita daily.
INTEREST RATES
On Wednesday, the Polish Monetary Policy Council will announce its decision on interest rates. Most analysts polled by Reuters expect rates to be cut by 25 basis points.
SURVEYS
According to the Pollster Research Institute, 54% of surveyed Poles believe that the 800+ benefit for children of Ukrainians living in Poland should be paid only to working parents, 29% believe they should not receive this benefit, and 11% believe that it should be paid to everyone without exception, Super Express daily reported.
