BEIJING, Aug 5 (Reuters) - China's car sales are forecast to grow by 6% this year while car export growth will likely hit 14%, the China Passenger Car Association said on Tuesday, upgrading its predictions for both metrics.
The revision was based on "better-than-expected" shipments in both domestic and overseas markets, the association said in a statement.
This compares with a projected 5% increase in car sales and a 10% rise in exports in the CPCA's June estimates.
