WASHINGTON, May 23 (Reuters) - The tariff debate continues to drive uncertainty for businesses, making it hard to plan and to know how consumers are going to respond.
"Uncertainty is driven by this tariff conversation," Schmid said at a business forum in Northwest Arkansas. "We'll work through this reset that we're going through, but clearly it is hard to plan unless you know what your costs are and what your client is going to want to do."
