Jan 19 (Reuters) - Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, said on Sunday that a team of officials would travel to Buenos Aires this week as talks over a new loan program continue.
President Javier Milei's government is seeking a new loan this year, on top of the current $44 billion program negotiated in 2022, with hopes that extra funds could further restore market confidence.
