April 8 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline was hit in an Iranian attack and damage was being assessed, while other facilities were also targeted, an industry source told Reuters on Wednesday.

The pipeline is the only outlet for Saudi crude exports after Iran's effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
