BERLIN, April 8 (Reuters) - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul told his Israeli counterpart in a phone call on Wednesday that Israel should limit its actions in Lebanon to only "necessary self-defence" against Hezbollah, according to a ministry spokesperson.
"In a conversation with the Israeli foreign minister, the foreign minister advocated that Israel should limit itself to necessary self-defence against Hezbollah and not go beyond that," said the spokesperson in Berlin at a regular press conference.
