China says trade talks with US have injected stability into ties

BEIJING, April 2 (Reuters) - China's trade talks with the United States have injected more stability and certainty into trade relations, the Chinese commerce ministry said on Thursday, sounding upbeat on the first anniversary of the U.S. so-called 'Liberation Day'.

Last year, U.S. President Donald Trump announced higher tariffs with nearly all trading partners including China on April 2, a date that he dubbed "Liberation Day".
