HOUSTON, March 30 (Reuters) - The president and a board member of privately-held, Houston-based GCC Supply & Trading have both resigned in recent days, three sources told Reuters on Monday.
President Peter Ramirez and board member Marty Power resigned, the sources said.
GCC and Ramirez did not immediately reply to requests for comment, while Reuters could not immediately reach Power.
The sources did not say why Ramirez and Power resigned.
A number of traders are also set to leave the company, two sources said.
GCC's affiliate Texas International Terminal in Galveston, Texas, was removed by Platts in January from a list of terminals approved to load WTI Midland crude oil for the Dated Brent index, saying the terminal had consistently not met Platts criteria. The removal means sellers cannot nominate WTI Midland oil loaded from Texas International Terminal for trades published in the Dated Brent and related assessments.
