Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline margins jump on tighter supply

LONDON, March 30 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refinery profit margins jumped on Monday by $3.25 to $13.75 on tightening fuel supplies.

• About 2,000 metric tons of E5 gasoline barges traded in the Argus window, with BP selling to Varo.

• An additional 6,000 tons of E10 gasoline barges traded in the session, with Shell and Petroineos selling to Van Raak and Varo.

• Fuel prices in oil-producing Nigeria have reached record highs, industry figures show, as maximum output from the giant Dangote Petroleum Refinery has failed to shield the country from the impact of the Middle East war, with Nigerians facing a 65% price spike.

• Reflecting the impact that China's rapid electrification has had on gasoline and diesel fuel use, PetroChina - Asia's largest oil and gas producer - reported that its domestic gasoline sales fell 2.3% in 2025 from a year earlier.

• Russia's Baltic Ust-Luga port, one of its largest petroleum export hubs, was damaged again on Sunday by a Ukrainian drone attack which sparked a blaze later brought under control, Russian officials said, as oil prices climbed past $110 a barrel due to the Iran war.

• EU-27 and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions have averaged 892,000 barrels per day so far in March, against 885,000 bpd in February.
