Australia's Woodside Energy assumes control of Beaumont ammonia facility in Texas

March 26 (Reuters) - Australian oil and gas producer Woodside Energy WDS.AX said on Thursday it assumed operational control of the Beaumont New Ammonia facility in Texas following the completion of performance testing and handover from OCI Global.
The facility has capacity to produce and export up to 1.1 million tonnes of ammonia per annum, adding to the company's portfolio as it expands into new energy products, it said.
