Oil and gas activity in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico rose in first quarter, Dallas Fed survey says

NEW YORK, March 25 (Reuters) - Oil and gas activity in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico increased in the first quarter of 2026, according to the Dallas Fed Energy Survey released on Wednesday.
Oil and gas production was little changed during the period, according to the survey.
Companies expect a West Texas Intermediate oil price of $74 per barrel at year-end 2026, the survey said.
