BARDUFOSS, Norway, March 13 (Reuters) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Friday the European Union was working with Canada and Norway on ways to cooperate on energy supplies.
"We will develop a common energy supply strategy within the European Union, together with our Canadian partners and with Norway... we need joint strategies in terms of energy supply," he told reporters in Bardufoss, Norway, during the NATO Cold Response drills.
The press conference was also attended by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store and Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney.
