LONDON, March 13 (Reuters) - Iraq's Kirkuk crude oil flows to Turkey's Ceyhan port restarted on Friday, having stopped on March 9, shipping and trading sources told Reuters.
Here are some details:
Iraq reduced oil output after the start of the Iran war, as the country is unable to export via the Gulf
Its crude oil production dropped to 1.4 million barrels per day (bpd), Oil Minister Hayan Abdel-Ghani said on Thursday, less than a third of the level before the conflict
Iraq's Oil Ministry asked the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) if it would pump at least 100,000 bpd from its state-managed Kirkuk oilfields to Ceyhan
KRG crude flows via Ceyhan have stopped twice since the war began
Some international producers have stopped production from their Kurdistan oilfields due to the war
KRG flows to Ceyhan were restarted in September 2025 after a two-and-a-half year hiatus
