Romania announces state aid scheme for transporters of cargo and passengers

BUCHAREST, March 12 (Reuters) - Romania plans to partially offset gasoline prices for road transporters of cargo and passengers until April 2027 as part of a 652 million lei ($147.56 million) state aid scheme, the finance ministry said on Thursday.

The support scheme will benefit an estimated 6200 firms, it said.
