US Cash Grains-Soy, corn basis mixed after farmer selling

CHICAGO, March 11 (Reuters) - Basis bids for corn and soybeans were largely mixed in the U.S. Midwest on Wednesday following a wave of farmer selling as producers sought to take advantage of a rally in corn and soybean futures.

• Farmer selling has petered out slightly after a surge of selling.

• Market players largely brushed off Tuesday's uneventful U.S. Department of Agriculture supply and demand report.

• Chicago soybean futures rose on Wednesday as crude oil recovered from a day-earlier plunge while investors wrestled with disruption caused by the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.

• Corn and wheat were also higher, steadying after a two-session fall.

• Chicago Board of Trade most-active soybeans were last up 22-1/4 to $12.24 per bushel. Most-active corn was last up 8 cents to $4.60-1/4 per bushel.
