Med crude-Urals diffs soften on rising freight costs to Asia

- Urals crude differentials to dated Brent widened on rising shipping costs for the grade to Asia, according to Reuters calculations on Tuesday.

Traders said Russian sellers face sharply higher costs, as several vessels were fixed at around $22-23 million from Russia's Baltic Sea ports to India amid a scarcity of the vessels.

Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Tuesday after meeting EU chief Ursula von der Leyen that they agreed oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline via Ukraine should be resumed and welcomed EU readiness for technical and financial help for repairs.
