March 5 (Reuters) - Canadian pipeline operator South Bow SOBO.TO said on Thursday it has launched a formal open season to solicit binding long-term transportation commitments to revive parts of the Keystone XL line from Hardisty, Alberta, to U.S. delivery points.
The open season runs until March 30, followed by a 60-day review period.
The revival could potentially increase Canada's crude exports to the United States by more than 12%.
