BERLIN, March 1 (Reuters) - Retaliatory measures, including by Iranian sleeper cells in Europe, cannot be ruled out after U.S. and Israeli strikes killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the head of Germany's parliamentary control panel for the secret services said on Sunday.
"The Iranian regime has repeatedly demonstrated in the past that it carries out its terror beyond its own borders," Marc Henrichmann told the Sueddeutsche Zeitung paper.
"Retaliatory measures, including by Iranian sleeper cells in Europe, cannot be ruled out," he added, saying protection measures must be adapted if needed.
