DUBAI, March 1 (Reuters) - British maritime agency UKMTO said on Sunday it has received a report of an incident 2 nautical miles north of Oman's Kumzar, located in the Strait of Hormuz.
The strait is the world's most vital oil export route, which connects the biggest Gulf oil producers, such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates, with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.
Iran has previously threatened to shut down the strait in retaliation of any attack.
