CHICAGO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Basis bids for soybeans were steady to higher at elevators, river terminals and processors in a spot check of locations in the U.S. Midwest on Thursday as futures ticked lower.
Brisk demand for U.S. corn and soy has added a floor to prices.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported weekly net corn export sales at 697,500 tons, below a range of analyst expectations.
The USDA reported weekly net soybean export sales at 407,100 tons, on the low end of a range of analyst expectations.
The soy basis rose at an Ohio elevator and two river terminals.
The corn basis rose at an Illinois river terminal.
