CHICAGO, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Basis bids for corn were steady to higher at river terminals and ethanol plants and steady to lower at other kinds of processors at locations in the U.S. Midwest on Wednesday as futures firmed slightly.
The corn basis fell at processors in Decatur, Illinois, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It rose at a river terminal in Seneca, Illinois, and an ethanol plant in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The soybean basis fell at an elevator in Cincinnati, Ohio, and rose at a processor in Lafayette, Indiana, and a river terminal in Seneca, Illinois.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said China is "lifting the Soybean count to 20 Million Tons for the current season (They have committed to 25 Million Tons for next season!"
