US Cash Products-Gulf Coast gasoline rises ahead of pipeline cycle change

NEW YORK, Feb 2 (Reuters) - Cash differentials for gasoline rose in the U.S. Gulf Coast on Monday, the last day to trade for delivery of the fuel on Colonial Pipeline's ninth annual pumping cycle to New York Harbor, traders said.

U.S. Gulf Coast M4 conventional gasoline RU-DIFF-USG gained a quarter of a cent to 1.75 cents below the gasoline futures benchmark RBc1 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, and A4 CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-USG gained three quarters of a cent to 11.25 cents below futures, traders said.

Gulf Coast 62-grade ultra-low sulfur diesel ULSD-DIFF-USG gained a cent to 14.75 cents below ULSD futures HOc1.

Chicago CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-MC gained 2 cents to 25 cents below futures, and Chicago ULSD ULSD-DIFF-MC gained a cent to 25 cents below futures.

Elsewhere in the Midwest, Group 3 V-grade gasoline RUV-DIFF-G3 gained 6 cents to 23 cents below futures, while Group 3 diesel ULSD-DIFF-G3 gained 10.25 cents to 18.75 cents below futures, traders said.

Oil futures fell sharply on Monday due to signs of de-escalation in U.S.-Iran tensions. Milder weather forecasts also pressured oil prices, with diesel hit hardest as demand for the fuel for heating and power generation would likely slow if the weather improves.

Gasoline futures fell 9.08 cents to settle at $1.8514 a gallon, while ULSD futures HOc1 fell 17.32 cents to settle at $2.3598 a gallon on Monday.

Renewable fuel (D6) credits RIN-D6-US for 2026 traded around $1.26 each, up from around $1.20 each in the previous session, traders said. Biomass-based (D4) credits RIN-D4-US rose to around $1.34 each, from $1.30 each earlier, they said.
