CHICAGO, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures fell back on Friday as investors engaged in end of month positioning and a rebound in the dollar pressured the commodity.
Profit-taking added pressure as investors approached the end of the month, according to analysts.
Harsh weather in the Northern Hemisphere kept a floor under prices, though snow cover helped protect crops from winterkill in many areas.
CBOT March soft red winter wheat WH26 closed down 3-1/2 cents at $5.38 per bushel.
K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH26 fell 2-1/4 cents to end at $5.44-3/4 a bushel. Minneapolis March spring wheat MWEH26 was down 3-1/4 cents at $5.78-1/4 a bushel.
