Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins edge up

LONDON, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refinery profit margins edged up by 49 cents a barrel to $6.97 on Wednesday.

• About 14,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline traded on barges in the Argus window, with TotalEnergies, Trafigura and Equinor selling to BP, Shell and Varo

• Exxon traded 3,200 tons of Eurobob E10 gasoline to MB Energy.

• U.S. crude stocks fell while gasoline and distillate inventories rose in the week ended January 23, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday, with gasoline stocks rising 200,000 barrels compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 1 million-barrel build.​ EIA/S

• Saudi Aramco has rescheduled two maintenance events at its Ras Tanura refinery and Jazan refinery in Saudi Arabia, according to data from the industry monitor IIR.

• Russia's naphtha exports to Asia are set to fall in January, with volumes in storage swelling as U.S. sanctions pressure key buyers including Taiwan, India and Venezuela, forcing Moscow to seek new markets, traders and analysts told Reuters.

• U.S. President Donald Trump said lawmakers were working on a deal to allow year-round sales of higher-ethanol E15 gasoline blends in the U.S. and he would sign a bill on it without delay.

• Meanwhile, EU-27 and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions have averaged 871,000 barrels per day so far in January, against 812,000 bpd over the whole of December.
