Valero restarting FCCU at Port Arthur, Texas refinery, sources say

HOUSTON, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp VLO.N was restarting the gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker (FCCU 1241) at its 380,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas, refinery on Tuesday, said people familiar with plant operations.

The 75,000-bpd FCCU shut down over the weekend before severe cold temperatures descended on the U.S. Gulf Coast, the sources said.
