US Cash Products-Gulf Coast gasoline falls ahead of Colonial cycle change

NEW YORK, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Cash differentials for gasoline fell in the U.S. Gulf Coast on Tuesday on the last day to trade for delivery of the fuel on the current pumping cycle of the Colonial Pipeline to New York Harbor, traders said.

U.S. Gulf Coast M4 conventional gasoline RU-DIFF-USG fell a quarter of a cent to 1.75 cents above March gasoline futures RBc2 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, and A4 CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-USG fell half a cent to 11.25 cents below futures, traders said.

Gulf Coast 62-grade ultra-low sulfur diesel ULSD-DIFF-USG fell a cent to 11.25 cents below the March ultra-low sulfur diesel futures contract HOc2.

Chicago CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-MC fell 1.5 cents to 23.5 cents below March futures, whereas Chicago ULSD ULSD-DIFF-MC gained a quarter of a cent to 26.25 cents below futures, traders said.

Elsewhere in the Midwest, Group 3 V-grade gasoline RUV-DIFF-G3 fell 1.75 cents to 18.25 cents below benchmark gasoline futures RBc1, traders said. Group 3 diesel ULSD-DIFF-G3 gained a quarter of a cent to 40 cents below benchmark ULSD futures HOc1.

Benchmark gasoline futures rose 4.51 cents to settle at $1.8652 a gallon, while benchmark ULSD futures rose 7.82 cents to close at $2.6462.

Renewable fuel (D6) credits RIN-D6-US for 2026 fell slightly to around $1.26 each, from around $1.275 each earlier, traders said. Biomass-based (D4) credits RIN-D4-US rose to around $1.35 each, from $1.30 each earlier, they said.
